A quick squib - which many of Oregon's fantastic leading green builders may quibble over.
Someone testifying this morning in favor of retaining Oregon's Business Energy Tax Credit cited his project to build "The World's Greenest Building" - as determined by its LEED score - in Independence, Oregon (Rep. Vicki Berger's district). The project is slated to include office, retail, and residential space.
As we look to making the US energy independent, and have Oregon play a leading role in reaching that goal, it's good to have people pushing to be the best in the world.
