One and a Half Percent for Solar
HB 2620
Topic |
Legislative Session |
Under this bill, any time a state constructs a new building, one and a half percent of the building cost will be allocated toward solar technology. This will save taxpayer dollars over the long run, while helping jump-start Oregon’s solar industry. It’s an important step in the long-term battle to combat global warming by providing more alternatives to fossil energy production.
