OLCV Education Fund, OLCV's sister organization, administers a number of programs that help citizens learn how to make real changes in their community--like improving the quality of their water and air and protecting neighborhoods, farmland, and wildlife.
This month, OLCV Education Fund invites you to Campaigning to Win 2010.
Experience a compelling, nonpartisan campaign training, designed to teach critical organizing skills to citizens who care about the environment and want to engage in effective, winning campaigns.
Workshops include:
- strategy
- grassroots contact
- messaging - persuasive communications
- fundraising - raising your first $10K
- volunteer recruitment and management - growing your grassroots team
Trainers
Learn from top-notch Oregon campaign leaders, OLCV Ed Fund Executive Director Jon Isaacs and OLCV Ed Fund Political Director Katy Daily, with three decades of combined experience.
Who should participate?
Anyone interested in deepening their ability to impact election outcomes. We especially encourage those considering public service, professional community organizing and volunteers to participate.
With just a half-day commitment, you’ll gain knowledge, skills and confidence to win. Participants will receive lunch and training materials.
When: Sunday, February 21, 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
