Earth Day in Deschutes!
April 21, 2010
Join OLCV at the Earth Day Fair in Bend this Saturday, April 24th.
This Earth Day Fair boasts to be the biggest yet. With interactive displays, art, live music and performances, and great hands-on activities for all ages. OLCV's Deshcutes County Chapter will be there, too!
The 11th annual Procession of the Species will kick off the day with a colorful, creative parade filled with children and adults costumed as their favorite species. Trashformations will also return this year to display large sculptures along Kansas Avenue for the duration of the event.
The fair will be located on Kansas Street in front of The Environmental Center (16 NW Kansas Ave, between Lava and Bond Streets).
We look forward to seeing you at the OLCV Deschutes County table at the Earth Day Fair!

Protection of remaining intact wilderness for its intrinsic value to all living inhabitants is as noble and worthy a goal as any development could possibly be. That's why we support organizations such as OLCV and our political representatives who work hard to protect Oregon's natural legacy.
