OLCV Holds Politicians Accountable
OLCV leads the fight to protect Oregon's environmental legacy. During Legislative Sessions, OLCV coordinates the Oregon Conservation Network, a statewide coalition of environmental groups that promotes Priorities for a Healthy Oregon in Salem. In addition, OLCV's county chapters work at the local level with city and county commissioners to ensure that our elected officials also protect Oregon's environment.
OLCV Educates Voters
For more than 30 years, OLCV has published the Enviromental Scorecard for the Oregon Legislature after every legislative session. The Scorecard rates every Oregon legislator's voting record on key environmental bills. It's an essential tool voters use to separate pro-environment leaders from those who pretend to be.
OLCV Helps Elect Pro-Environment Leaders
OLCV works to elect pro-environment leaders that will work hard to keep our air and water healthy and our farms and forests protected.
OLCV's Political Action Committee and OLCV's county chapters endorse strong, pro-environment candidates. We also support our endorsed candidates facing tough contests with two crucial resources--money and volunteers--so they can protect the Oregon we love.
